Event tech should earn its floor space

A VR booth or a hologram reveal works when it has a job: drawing visitors to an exhibition stall, explaining a product that is too big to bring, or giving a dealer meet a moment people talk about afterwards. AUM Event plans event technology around that job first, then picks the hardware, the content and the floor layout to match.

Because our AV, LED and fabrication teams are in-house, the tech is not a hired gadget dropped in a corner. Power, network, lighting, queue space and the operator’s position are on the same drawing as the stage, and one production manager owns the whole show, whether it is a trade show at Helipad Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar, a launch in Ahmedabad or a conference elsewhere in India.

What we supply and run

Interactive event technology

AR & VR experience booths

Headset VR walkthroughs of a plant, project or product, and AR activations on a phone or a screen. Built for exhibitions, launches and dealer meets, with an attendant at every headset.

Hologram displays (Pepper’s Ghost)

A floating 3D product or presenter reveal on stage or on a stall, with the content designed for the illusion and the lighting controlled so it stays visible.

Interactive touch walls & LED floors

Touch walls for product catalogues and brand stories, and interactive LED floor tiles or dance floors that react to footsteps, for stalls, launches and sangeets.

AI & 360 spin photo booths

AI photo booths that restyle guests into a themed look, and 360 spin booths that produce a slow-motion clip, branded and shared to the guest’s phone on the spot.

Anamorphic 3D displays & drone shows

Anamorphic 3D creative for outdoor LED screens, and drone light shows from 50 to 500 drones for an open-air reveal, with flight permissions filed in advance.

Hybrid tech & event microsites

Live streaming, a hybrid event tech stack and a custom virtual event microsite, so remote audiences see the same reveal as the room. See virtual and hybrid events.

How we plan it

Content, throughput and a test run

Every installation starts with throughput. A VR demo that takes four minutes per person serves about 15 visitors an hour per headset, so a busy stall needs more headsets, a shorter cut or a screen that lets the queue watch. We size the setup to the footfall you expect, not to the brochure.

Content is built or adapted for the device: 360 video or a 3D model for VR, a short loop for the hologram, branded templates for the photo booths. Everything is set up and tested on site before doors open, with spare units and an operator on each station for the whole event.

Why AUM

Tech that is part of the production

One crew for AV, LED and tech

Sound, lighting, LED walls and the interactive installations come from the same team, so power, cabling and cues are planned together.

Exhibition experience

We build stalls and run exhibitions across Gujarat, so we know how much floor a booth needs, where queues form and what an organiser allows.

Operators, not just rentals

Each station has a trained attendant who cleans headsets, resets the experience and keeps the queue moving.

Since 1989

AUM Event has produced corporate, government and wedding events from its Ahmedabad base for more than three decades.

Event technology: FAQs

What is a VR event experience, and where does it work best?

Guests wear a headset and see a 360 video or a 3D model, such as a walkthrough of a factory, a real-estate project or a vehicle. It works best on exhibition stalls, at product launches and at dealer meets, where it explains something you cannot bring into the hall.

How is an AR activation different from VR?

AR adds digital content to the real world through a phone, tablet or screen, so guests do not wear a headset and many people can take part at once. VR replaces what the guest sees, which is more immersive but serves one person at a time.

How does a hologram display work at an event?

We use the Pepper’s Ghost technique: an image is reflected onto a transparent film or glass so a product or presenter appears to float on stage. It needs controlled lighting, so we plan it with the stage lighting design.

Can you set up a 360 or AI photo booth for a wedding or corporate event?

Yes. Both are priced per day and come with an operator, branded templates and instant sharing to guests’ phones. See the 360 spin photo booth and the AI photo booth.

Do you supply event technology outside Ahmedabad?

Yes. AUM Event is based in Ahmedabad and delivers across Gujarat and India, including Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Surat, Mumbai and Delhi. Our crew travels with the equipment.

How do I get a quote?
